1. Now, becouse of hardware similiarity the difference will be even more noticable as porting will be much easier and performacne wont take so bad kick from lack of optimisation. Even if devs wont add any additional gfx effects pc versions will benefit from much better antialiassing, higher resolutions and frame rates.
I highly doubt that ps4s and xb1s production costs are higher then selling prices.
How i see things is, with pc you have cheaper games and more expansice hardware. Consoles also have multiplayer paywalls (and others?). In a ~10 years planned life of next generation consoles you almost surely will have to buy another one becouse hardware rarely last this long. In this regard pc has an andventage. I reguralery chenge my computers components buying new ones and selling old ones. This way it doesnt cost me full price becouse i have some money from old hardware, my pc is rather ...
First they arent stupid. Pepole can be stupid. Second they are there to add some fidelity to unreallistic rendering. They make the world feel more natural somewhat masking artificialness.
There is nothing to debate, just keep all those hidden psychos and emmotionally unstable people far from games. Normal people wont start killimg anybody becouse of games. Besiedes there already were movie like games where you shoot real actors.

@Angel: Diablo 3 isnt a benchmark for anything. It was medicore on pc becouse it was designed with consoles in mind in the first place. They want to sell every one a second copy.

I doubt many no FF fans will like it much. The game is just basic grinder. There is a story offcourse but after several hours of playing i want to cry every time i see a quest dialog.
Its expected but as well trully sad. New consoles arent even out, yet they cant handle current pc graphics. Wasnt that bad last gen.
