I agree, my son loves this game. I cannot see why (for the life of me) anyone would buy it. But he loves it and that is good enough for me.
Everquest 2 has it, so does Star Trek Online . all MMOs should have it.
I'm waiting on the game with all the DLC.
ME was the worst. Win8 is not bad, not great. If they include a start button, then it would be great.

The author needs to realize that a F2P MMO of any type needs to make money. He played the game with the intent of “not spending a penny”. How would he feel that he didn’t make any cash for his services? We get caught up in this entire F2P saying that really isn’t true. However if I play a game that is F2P, I view it as a major demo and start subbing if I like it. And the author needed to pay to get a subbed after he enjoyed the demo!
I said this would happen years ago here. Imagine everyone developer doing it, that will eventually be the case. Why?
If I make a game and put it on Steam, they get a piece of my pie. I need to follow their rules.

You just pretty much summed what I said. The free market will charge what it should. You can't bend it, the consumer drives it. If everyone buys a $100 game when it is released, then guess what? If no one buys a PS4 or XBONE at release, I bet they drop that price PDQ. If no one buys their games on their digital system, then they will drop their price. If they still don't do it, then the customer will leave and buy a PC, which is why the PC is really going forward.

During the Intellivision/Atari days, games were 30-50 dollars then. Salaries for personnel have risen to high amounts. Yes the packaging is gone, but there is still high cost to making games. But if you don’t want to pay $60.00 for a new game, then don’t. You can’t make a company drop their prices by whining; only by being patient and a smart buyer do you get the good deals!
The market will pay what it wants. The seller will drop its price on the market. This is simple supply and demand. Leave the free market to its on. Most regulations are slighted and should only be used in case of monopolies or unfair business practices.

I prefer ARMA 3 and Red Orchestra. I own just about all of the COD games excluding BO2 and I own all BF games. But if they are not going to invest their talents in a good A.I. (and bots) then I am not supporting them any longer.
