There are the other items you have to deal with on a PC - firewall, anti-virus, malware, etc... That all takes time to keep configured and running. So far a console doesn't need any of that babysitting.
That is for all PCs. I have that were I work. What does that have to do with anything. And you don't need it unless you hitting PORN or hack sites.
The article is pretty close. And yes most games for console are $60 at release. I can buy at release PC games for AT LEAST 40% off. Now that 90's crap, was in the 90's. Not even close to that now. My rig, which was top notch in 2012, is still top notch in 14 and will be for a long time. Have not spent a dime since it was built and i will not need to for the life of your console.
At worst I will need to buy a GPU, which is unlikely.

You don't know what you are talking about. My rig is not more than $900 and I can play it all. But answer me this.
I can buy Watch Dogs right now for $30. Let me know where you can do that on a console.

Depends on the settings (resolution). I play a majority of my games at 1920x1200. I've never had a issue with any game (Arma 3, Witcher 2, etc)

Hell no!If they make this game multiplayer only, it won't sell. They need to add bots and the options for co-op vs bots. They need to make it like they did the last one.

Like I've stated before. I wouldn't buy a console until 6 months to a year after the release of the console. My nephew bought a Xbox One, now regrets it and my son doesn't play his PS4. But the games will be release shortly and consoles will have some good games for both systems.
While I can careless about this. I wonder what would have happened had it been this: "This is Playstation 4 only, who cares!"
