The nice thing about this gen is Sony putting out constant sellthrough numbers so the little Xbox fanboy who runs vgchartz is severly constrained from making up ridiculously low Playstation sales numbers. He has been forced to massively inflate the Xbox One numbers - mostly in Europe where there is much less public data. The PS4 has been consistently selling 5 or 6 to 1 over the Xbox One since launch in Europe outside of the UK.

I think the most glaring problem with the Switch is the controllers. The pro controller is absolute garbage and the standard controllers are mediocre at best.
Nowhere near as good as the controls on my DS and Vita.
The release list for the rest of 2017 looks terrible for Switch. There clearly is demand from diehard Nintendo fans but it is hard to see that demand from the general gaming playerbase.
Won't fail as badly as the Xbox One but definitely not another Wii type hit.
