It is good that they are finally admiting to the manufacturing problem. Microsoft took a year and a half of lies and denial before they were forced to start replacing the millions of RRoD Xbox 360s.
But for someone who was thinking about the Switch, how are they to know if the unit they buy today is a 'good' or 'bad' version? And how long will it take for the bad units to be gone from store shelves?

For a developer or publisher looking at Microsoft - why would they bother to support them? Microsoft has a history of dumping their hardware mid generation.
