Actually its a steal regardless of the performance. Im playing it in 1920x1080 60fps everything maxed and its a world of differnce compared to the consoles. Though 1.0.0.7 patch has reduced the performance, going back to patch 4 is easy. And come on, $10 for BOTH gta iv and eflc!!!

Fancy that, I just bought my Driving Force GT today. So I've been playing GT5P for the mean time and wooooooooo cant wait for GT5.

Whoa whoa whoa... What's wrong with Civ 5 being nominated for a PC game? On any other "hardcore" games list, nobody gives a damn about Civ. I think it's deserved to be in the spotlight for once.
Other than that, I don't agree with COD:BO for GOTY or RDR. But GoWIII and ME2 are the proper choices.
And yes I agree that the Spike "VGAs" (I hate saying that... VGA...) is all mainstream BS.

I like the Halo series, with Reach being the best.
With that said, it opens our eyes seeing what developers envisioned was "cool" back in the days.
I actually agree that COD4 is probably the best in the series still. It's grand but not too over the top. And the single player is something I'll never forget. MW2 took that formula and inserted Hollywood into it, and you only realize after a few months later how stupid and non military that game is.
But yup, there are plenty of other good shooters. CSS, Battlefield, Killzone 2, Halo, etc.
I honestly don't get why people are disagreeing what is clear just an opinion.
And TBH, after playing Halo splitscreen with friends or playing Halo 3 online, I can see why someone would be addicted to that. It's just fun!
Not until GT6 when it comes out in two years. The engine will be refined, the physics will be improved yet again, the features will be endless, and the fans will buy millions of it.
For now, yes GT5 is the true definitive definitive definitive racing game this generation.

So far the most impressed I've been of Kinect is by none other than Ubisoft's your shape fitness. It guessed my height and weight and width and it was +5% off. But for something that just looked at me and got that close, it was definitely a cool moment.

That's great, power to you. But guess what? Few games are going to take advantage of that. If they are barely supporting quad cores, then very likely they aren't going to give a damn about hexa cores for a long time.
And yes "quad cores are old now" but it's more than enough for anything at the moment.
Eventually though chipset makers can't just keep cramming more cores into their processors. They need to make better technology to ...
Damn i couldnt agree more. Been having no issues with nvidia cards and drivers since my old 8800gts. The pros far outweigh the cons which certain fanboys like to tout heat and sound as the limited factor for going amd. Come on, superior performance from nvidia cards for a little heat and noise is a good tradeoff. Plus drivers, cuda, phsyx, tessellation, and good manufacturers like evga
