Honestly, what can they do for their next console other than probably making Kinect standard and having better graphics? And last I checked, they have to go Blu-Ray or another form of disc medium and finally ditch DVD. That or go entirely Digital Distribution which would be a stupid move.
lol I learned how to drive a 5 speed in that exact same car. Although I doubt it will hit 150mph like in that video. Heck, the wheels felt like they're going to fall off trying to hit 60mph lol
Well said Solid_Snake, well said. To some people, prancing around like an idiot isn't their idea of fun.
So let me get this straight, first "Kinect" is touted as something that's going to revolutionize the gaming industry, but now it's "just an add-on."
Pick an excuse people.
If someone spends $150 on Kinect, they better have better games and support for it. It's not like people are saying "Oooh yes I got a Kinect. Okay I'll just let it sit there and go play Gears of War instead."
It's faster, cooler, quieter, and runs around the same price as a launch GTX480. The 580 is a success. 62FPS on Crysis Warhead... man I want one...
I also was actually hoping the rumors of a Dual GPU GTX460 would be true.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA oh lord I don't even want to bother replying to that
Let's all just forget that the 5970 is a dual-gpu right AMD fans?
huh for once I agree with Aaron Greenberg. VGcharts is a joke
500 too much? Considering the 480 is around that price, the 580 is faster and quieter so in a sense its a much better value. I want one but i dont need it. Maybe in 2-3 years
Agreed, theres a thousand factors when releasing a new console. Others have tried and failed. Heck, even current companies like nintendo have a hard time sometime like with the game cube. It not only has to introduce something so dramatically new in features as well as be affordable. The console race is hard. Besides nvidia and amd is making money by producing gpus for the real console makers anyway.
Above, dont forget theres an amd (ati) gpu for the wii
On Topic: The 360 version looks better in terms of lighting and some textures. But overall come on, you think people who play COD really give a damn?
Well it's a single card solution for people who don't have SLI setups like me.
Jeeze, I hope the prices on the GTX480 comes down instead. I'd be perfectly happy with that.
lol "superior version." I didn't know fanboys still used that term.
Yeah the fun of the game depends on who's playing and who're playing with. I totally agree with you that when your entire team or the offensive team just snipes, it's almost pointless to play it.
For the millionth time, do people not understand 1 year head start in U.S. and 1.5 years head start in EU? Which was an 8-10 million lead when the PS3 launched, now even if it's 3 million behind, simple math tells us that the PS3 has caught up by 5 million which tells us it has been outselling the 360 year over year worldwide.
What in the world are you talking about? Savage fans?
What kind of Quad Core specs are we looking at here?
If it's something along the lines of at LEAST an AMD 975BE, then it may be a powerful CPU indeed.
But I doubt it.
It's probably just me but Crysis on medium settings doesn't look all that great.
So I'm not expecting too much from the console versions.
"The PC players and fanbase allowed Call of Duty to come to where it is today."
Uh actually, COD didn't get big until COD4 released on consoles in which it exploded into what the COD series is today.
While I agree that PC gamers are getting the shaft with console ports, to say that the PC gamers "let" COD become big is a false statement.
