LOL, there are over 110 games announced for Vita, about 10 are remakes/ports.
3-5 was enough for me when I had PSP and considering that PSVita has so much power, you can hardly complain about it.

PSVita is region free. It was confirmed long time ago
3D can work even on a touchscreen, e.g. it is already used on phones such as HTC EVO 3D or LG Optimus 3D. Though I can't guarantee you that it works well together, or as you called "in harmony".
