I don't agree with you about non-casual marketing.
Look at PS Vita's trailers. There's nothing like those creepy Play Beyond PS3 ads with crying baby dolls or something.
Deep colors, easy pop music, simple but nice footage dominates Vita ads. No "RAW POWER" or "HARDCORE".
Also, a lot of casual games, e.g. Little Deviants, LBP, Reality Fighters, Smart As, Sound Shapes, ModNation Racers (or maybe more) from 1st part...

It may be one of the best, but definitely not the best. Mainly because of lack of games - GC only has 640 versus 2000+ PS2 games.
Also the design is cute and original but not attractive for masses.
Yeah, Driver SF is a great game. It has both interesting story and a lot of hours of interesting gameplay. I haven't been playing such good arcade racing game from NFS:U2.

Because some people think that 3DS actually displays 800x240 image. Even though you only see it as 240x400, because 400 are allocated for one eye, and 400 for another.
But wait... 800x240 < 960x540... Sorry, I don't know why people claim 3DS has a higher res screen.
