Actually, PS5 has shown next gen game play with ray tracing. MS has shown old game, yay, and Craig game play. Back to the drawing board for that one eh?
Nope, Sony knows what they are doing, as per usual, by showcasing games like Ratchet and Clank ray tracing, with inter dimensional travel with loading worlds almost instantaneously. MS showing boot times loading old games that should load fast because of their age.

It's Sony not MS. New games is what they do.
As a PS gamer i will say that it is a cool feature. But i am still not buying the console unless i see game play of their new AAA in house games. That will be the only reason i would ever buy the new xbox. Where are the "look at how next gen our games are, look at the RT."? The gaming community is slowly allowing MS to change what is and isn't important to gaming. New AAA games must always come first, and never be just an after thought.

I think it fits the narrative. MS wants cheap games to put on gamepass, you know filler. So Bethesda fits perfectly.
