No it didn't. Not compared to Sekiro and Nioh. It looked bland compared to those two games. Had me worried until i played it.
@Agent_00_Revan: neither does the show, but that doesn't stop Sony from making a great baseball game.
I will wait until i play it before i start hating it. If i did that with The Last Of Us2 i would have missed playing that amazing game. Never make yourself dislike something until you've tasted it at least. Devs work hard on these games, so we should at least test drive it before we say if it's going to be good or not.
I didn't think Ghost Of Tsushima's combat looked any good, and then i played the game and it is great.
Is there a reason why no other companies make football games, or basketball games?
Right.
That might be true, but they have the market and they do make money from the franchise, otherwise they wouldn't make the games. Madden is garbage and that is the most popular sport in the US.
To be fair, a lot of people do. Not just in NA but all over Europe.
@Chriswynnetbh: The reason PS games are soo good is because they make them for one platform. They don't need to worry about the lowest common denominator. If they start Putting their games on pc they will lose console sales. Call me a fanboy all you want, i say "bleep" none ps players. If they don't want to buy the hardware then suffer. Everything in life doesn't have to be catered to everyone. Plus, from what i am hearing, sony is making that gen leap and their ps5 game...
@InUrFoxHole: Some of us like to work.
It's not, that's why it won't be faster than the ps5. It's not just the ssd but the tech surrounding it that makes it transfer info faster. Sony's tech when released for pc's will boost the speed way faster. But you gonna have to wait a bit.
The tech sony is using is better at transferring info faster because of the tech they created which won't be available til next yr sometime.
Actually it does. Cerny and Sweany said that the tech Sony is using will far out perform anything on high end pc's. They both said the tech will come to market for pc's after sony launches the ps5. Meaning next yr. They are just talking about the speed, but how it's delivered. Sony is using their own tech which will hit pc's next yr.
@RazzerRedux: I don't think that's what @garos82 was saying. he was saying that it's like the xbox one holding back the xsx. It had nothing to do with pc's out performing consoles.
Always pushing the medium forward. Haptic Feedback and SSD is another push forward.
The new Crash game looks good already.
ummm? ummmm? ahhh? ummm? I don't know, what is it?
So how does one comment about this without getting banned?
Mark Cerny said he went to different studios, not just SIE, and asked them what new tech they wanted. He also told them the basics of what they had planned. I highly doubt that Cerny and Sony would invest in the tech if the feedback was bad. So people saying devs won't use the tech, which is the equivalent of a painter saying they don't want more colors to work with, is nonsense.
Even if No other devs used the tech except SIE it would still be amazing, especially if...
@Sgt_Slaughter: I understand it's not what sim gamers wanted, but they've been talking about it being a simcade for a few months. There are lots of sims out there. Maybe that's why they decided to go this route.
They should have called it something else if people were confused.
I like both sim, simcade, and arcade racing so it's nice to add it to my list of games.
Reminds me of Driveclub a little, in a good way.
i think they were going for more of an arcade feel.
Adding is a good thing.
