My buddy bought the game and said it was crap. so he and i went to the local gaming store to see what he can get for it and the guy laughed at him. we ended up getting $10 for it because i was buying other games at the time.

I don't know how you can compare Spider-Man and God Of War with Red Dead 2. They didn't feel long because the story kept on moving with spectacular combat and set pieces. unlike red dead ..zz 2 zzzzzzzzzz YAWN!!!!
Horizon Zero Dawn did it just right. good action combat with a fully realized open world full of life, and a story that was second to none.

i really tried to like it, and there are aspects of the game that i really enjoyed. but it's to monotonous for me.

that might not be until fall 2020 and there are 4 or 5 great exclusives still launching on the ps4. plus you can sell it and put that money towards a ps5. if it's going to be a persons first time buying the ps4 then the back log is worth it alone.
