without an exclusive multiplayer hit. are you just throwing around words? there have been plenty of great games that can be considered as multiplayer hits. You just chose not to call them like that, you do whatever you feel like, but its not based on reality.
Uncharted 4 multi is well received and has tons of players

Cgi means computer generated Imagery.
So yes it was cgi. It was also prerendered. Because it wasnt live. But it was aparently completely in enginge. Thats it.
