The only game I ever playedwith more than 4 was on ps3 Bomberman Ultra. I have it on psnow but never tried it with that many people again so dunno with so funno if that works on ps4

you do have to own a ps4 for shareplay but you dont have to take it to someones house to couch coop, because you can just invite that person into a group and play the game together without the other person having the game. Thats what shareplay is. Play together only 1 owns the game.
