I would say its because its just rougher, Which is kind of appealing, and its more shooting centric, so if you enjoy the shooting parts the most you are going to like it a lot.

If they make a great game out of it I dont care what the IP is. The only concern should be that. look at god of war. They could have easily stoped it. But they came back stronger than ever.

Nausicaa is fantasy though its message is transferrable to reallife. same with final fantasy. the only difference here is that if the autor says so you believe it. but it goes both ways

you have pokemon, zelda, uncharted, tlou, reddead, horizon, godofwar all geames that sold OVER 10million and beyond so to say that singleplayer games are not relevant is just so out of touch.
Now...do mp games have the ability to make more money than all those combined. sure.
But that does not render them irrelevant.

You are completely ignoring the problem.
The problem is that when too many people get infected at once and they need medical assistance and there is NOT ENOUGH, they are just going to die while they could actually be saved. you can say your economy good bye if you just let a virus like that run its course. you are going to have dead people inside houses and on the streets, oh nice but the economy is running right? no it wont.
