Why do people keep calling them zombies? Habit, maybe?
IMO, they should be called 'Parasites' or 'Infected' or something.
Oh, please! How can a game that looks exactly like RE4 (But with better graphics), has broken controls with an awkward inventory system and THE most annoying AI partner ever get such a score?!
Not everyone plays online and or in tournaments, so why should those people have to practice? You remind me of the guy on here who commented on RE5 saying that everyone should play it online. But does playing online make that game any better? Does it make the crappy controls better? No, it doesn't.
And no, I don't play online games much, but what has that got to do with a broken character in SF4's arcade mode?
Will this get released in the EU?
I've played the demo and loved it! SEGA, BRING THIS TO THE EU!!!
I've only played online a couple of times and stopped because everyone I fought kept quitting whenever I'd get them down to their last bit of health.
BTW, my main is Chun-Li both on and offline.
Still, that doesn't change the fact that Seth is cheap and broken. If Capcom patch him, then I'll buy the game again, but until then, I'm avoiding it like the plague.
Right, I should go back to practicing Pong then, yeah? How about Super Mario?
As long as this is better the SF4, I'll definitely buy it!
So pics from March '08 are new? *Facepalm*
Still, I'm praying for this game to get released.
Yeah, it is the game, actually. I bought the game last Wednesday and traded it in for Eternal Sonata this morning because Seth is just so damn stupid. And what's all this "You need to keep practicing!" bullsh!t?! No one, and I mean NO ONE should have to practice playing a game.
The game isn't 'hardcore', it's an overhyped pile of crap that doesn't deserve all those 10/10s.
Christ, it's GTA4 all over again...
The respawning happens **SPOILER** on the street where you fight the Smog for the first time **END SPOILER**, but it happens, non-stop, **SPOILERS** in Silent Hill, when you're going to switch off the power to the prison gate. **END SPOILER**
About the dodging mechanic, I'm on my fourth playthrough (Reason being: the story is amazing, that's why I keep playing the game.) and I can honestly say that it does not work at all. No matter what I do or how I've dodged, I still get hit. ...
Aww, no!! :(
I hope Colonial Marines is still in development, though. Haven't heard a thing about that game in a while.
Here's what I want to know: When will the controls be fixed and when will the game NOT look like RE4?
Polished? Really?
So according to kikizo, monsters that respawn right after you kill them (Literally), a dodging mechanic that doesn't work, walking around with no ammo for most of the game (Because there's barely any ammo at all) and monsters that take nearly all your health with only one hit, makes a polished game?
IMO, this game could've used another year in development. Oh, and it didn't need all those SH movie references either.
EDIT: Oh, and I forg...
Both have their pros and cons, imo.
Here's mine (As I have both consoles):
PSN
Pros: It's free - just pop in a game and play.
Cons: Credit card thingy is screwed up, i.e. I enter my details and buy something. Then I try to buy something else and it says my card is incorrect.
XBL
Pros: Download movies and Xbox games.
Cons: You have to pay to play online. Need to wait a week to download new demos (If you have a Silver account).
Ha, that was pretty cool!
@chaosatom: Online co-op doesn't make the controls better. Online co-op doesn't let you move while you shoot. So why should anyone play co-op if it doesn't make the game any better?
Capcom, you've let me down.
Resident Evil 4?! Half Life 2?! Since when were they scary?
Why should PC fans be jealous when there's going to be mods that will put any DLC that Rockstar releases to shame?
Oh and all this "OMFG, Killzone 2 will be better then any DLC" on the first page is just retarded! You CANNOT compare a FPS game to a Sandbox game.
These 'comparisons' are so damn usless. Whoever made that just darkened the 360 version and lightened the PS3 version.
Bloody useless.
No, I haven't played the full game, but having played the demo (Both on 360 and PS3) and watched those gameplay vids of the leaked game on Youtube (To see if you could run and shoot in the full game - you can't.), I can say that the game doesn't deserve a 9. A 6 or 7 maybe. But not a 9!
I do agree with you about some people loving it, but they'll love it because it's Resident Evil, nothing more.
Hell, the game shouldn't even be called 'Resident Evil' anymore! It's ju...
