First of all, that 'guy' didn't make the Ring, he made The Grudge. Secondly, The Calling looks like a PS2 game from 2001 (Which means it looks like crap) AND it's a point-and-click game, that makes it even worse! Third, The Grudge game has semi-free roam and isn't on-rails, which will make it one of the best horror games on the console.
Get your facts right before you comment.
@BX81: HA, HA, HA, OH WOW! u r a comeedeean!
As you can see from the comments, a lot of people agree that OnLive will fail. It will lag. It won't be able to play Crysis or any game that needs a top-of-the-range PC to run.
Deal with with.
@JHUX: I'm not buying it nor am I going to try it as Remedy promised, for over THREE YEARS, that we would be getting an open-world survival horror game inspired by Silent Hill/Twin Peaks.
We're not getting that, so I'm not buying it. It's not just me either, lots of people were excited for a sandbox-style survival horror, so Remedy have probably lost others as well.
BTW, I'm not bashing Remedy either. I love the Max Payne games (And am waiting for MP3!), I just think...
You do know that not everyone has fast internet, right? There's also two little things called lag and contention rate.
How are they going to stream a game like Crysis over the internet without it lagging like hell?
Seriously, OnLive is going to fail.
EDIT: And yes, they're using Crysis to market OnLive.
Are there any mods for Fallout 3 on 360?
I'm not surpried, OnLive is never going to work anyway.
Well that's off my list of games to get. It would've been very cool to play a sandbox-style horror game.
Damn you Remedy. :(
LOL, Bale isn't in the game as he's too awesome to lend his likeness, it seems.
*Shoots a T-600* "You want me to trash your lights?!! You want me to trash 'em?!!!"
EDIT: *Looking at the loading screen after dying* No, we won't take a break, let's GO AGAIN!!"
LOL, fail article is fail! I'm not defending the game as I haven't played it yet, but giving it a 5/10 just because it's another FPS is ridiculous, imo.
Why don't you give the CoD games a 5/10? How about Halo? Or F.E.A.R.? Or the Battlefield games? They're all FPS games and they're all the same (But have different characters and settings), so why don't you go and give them all a 5/10?
LOL, that's cute!
Not surprised. The first three games were excellent, imo. They started getting crap with Goblet of Fire.
Might as well cancel my pre-order then. T5:DR (PS3 version) got old fast because everyone was unlocked from the start. Online was garbage - you couldn't play a match without someone quiting half-way through because they were losing.
To bad everyone will lap up the DLC, though. Just look at SF4.
This has to be the best news ever! Project Zero here I come!!
What game have you been playing? What you've described doesn't sound like Prototype. IMO, this is the first game to have protect/chase/time-based missions that are *gasp* enjoyable, unlike those in GTA, Infamous, Red Faction, Saints Row etc.
And the game is fun! I'm about 15 hours in and not once have I got bored, not once. In Infamous, I'm on the second island and it's already gotten repetitive. According to the stats screen on GTA4, I've 30% done and I haven't touched it in 6/7...
All hail Father Alpaca!!
Whoever disagreed needs to get their head checked. The game is seriously broken and NEEDS TO BE FIXED!! But Beth are money hungry, so they're going to release the UFO DLC (Which is a re-skinned Operation: Anchorage) and leave it at that.
Assuming all Fallout 3 fans have bought every DLC so far (And have bought the game for €60 like I have), then we've actually spent €78 on the game and then we'll pay another €6.00 for the UFO DLC. That's €84 altogether.
Hell, I've ev...
I think scrawlfx.com needs to go.
Wouldn't be surprised. This is Capcom milking money from Wii owners after all. What are they going to do next? Release the Gamecube versions of RE2 and RE3 (Which were direct ports of the Dreamcast versions.)?
I'm really looking forward to the Marine campaign!
How about focusing on the game itself, Rockstar? No need for DLC just yet. I'll buy any DLC and 10 copies of the game if you fix the driving, add monster trucks/planes/flame throwers/anything that's over the top, etc.
Was playing the game a couple of minutes ago and my car flipped over after turning a corner...and again while turning around the next one.
Jesus H. Christ, extreme physics anyone?
