i remember a time when 360 fanboys was saying the ps3 needs to sell 500k more per month just to catch the 360. now the number we are at is 340k. it keeps dropping down for some odd reason. lol. but i said in another post, the first 3-4 months of 2008 will be very telling. i'll give the ps3 till April 2008 to show what it can do and if the 360 can hold off it then yes the ps3 will come in last this gen.

you dont even have to use VG charts. just look at npd since...well almost forever, but for all intensive purposes, lets say sep-nov. the NA gap has closed. 360 was once enjoying a 4:1 lead and now look at it. 1:6 to 1 in NA.
MS put everything they had in 2007 for a reason. 360 has NO system selling games coming in 2008. If they do, please name one. I'm not saying there are no good games coming to 2008, just not system selling (there is a difference). PS3 has at least 3 GUARANT...

what huge gap? the ps3's lead is jsut as big in japan if not bigger. so how can you say the NA gap cant be closed. I could say the same thing about the 360 in japan, except taht is pretty much a guarantee. now the ps3 selling more in NA is a 50/50
I see exactly what you are saying. I thought PS3 fanboys understood taht the things Sony did down the stretch would not be enough to outsell the 360 this year. I fully expected the 360 to still outsell the PS this year, BUT Sony has laid a better foundation for 2008 that they previously had. i like BC as well and i dont even have PS2 games. but i got a PS3 and missed out on a few classics last gen as i ditched the ps2 in favor of xbox, halo completely took over me for a long time. so i got the 80gb and purchased a few ps2 games to boot.
