That's brilliant! You could also mention the following:
-Gameplay no matter what situation, is always in 1st person.
-The graphics are absolutely incredible. Whatever engine that the devs used, we have to find out what it is.
-Absolutely amazing AA effects, huge resolution and the draw distance kicks ass.
-Excellent realtime lighting technique and the framerate is always consistent. It never drops down
-There's currently no way of automaticall...

Come on! Really? Mirror's edge is a good game, especially when you consider that there is nothing like it out there...it's absolutely unique.

On the side of things, I've already played all these games and I would replace Mirror's Edge with something different, because it's campaign can be completed in under 3 hours or less. Other than that, it would be a good game for someone who hasn't played it before.

People are absolutely going nuts over this outage! I am simply going to sit back, relax and wait for any future updates from Sony on this issue. In the meantime, I'll play some single player games. If I get bored, I'll go outside.

Simple as that.

See Nintendo?? How hard was it to come up with a simple system of IDs?

Oh god, if this is true, then this is a serious breach of security. Attacking admins? This is just horrible. It means that there is a serious flaw within the system and Sony needs to take their time and fix this.

Had this gone far, it could have done so much damage.

I don't get it...it sort of confusing. The other day they said that the problem was coming from Japan. Now, they mentioned that it was from an outside party...what on earth is going on? Also the fact that Sony was forced to take down their services from an outside party attack means that this is dead serious. Something also tells me that they don't probably know what the problem exactly is.

As for this theory of Steam letting hackers in, it is an interesting considera...

What we need is a simple explanation of at least WHEN this will be resolved. Any window time, any estimate will do. Better have something that is not concrete or properly based than have nothing at all. People like myself have no idea what's exactly going on and this makes me feel left in the dark.

We need an explanation, that's all.

It sucks right now to only have a PS3. So many games just got released and the thought of not being able to play any of them at all during the weekend sucks.

Here's hoping to Sony fixing the issue (today) BEFORE the weekend begins.

Let's just hope that they manage to fix this at least before the weekend (today). Its been almost 2 days. Some people out there are getting impatient. If this continues through the Spring break weekend, it could make more people pissed off for 3 reasons:

1) They can't enjoy their weekend with online gaming
2) They know there is a problem, but not precisely what it is.
3) The fact that they have no idea when they'll be back playing online again.

True...makes you wonder what all those millions of kinects sitting at home are doing right now. Let's hope for some good stuff at E3!

Well, some Nintendo fanboy out there is very pissed and on the rage. It's okay if the Move is much more precise than the Wii mote, just don't rage this at the top of your lungs.

Personally I don't see it as selling out. It is more like taking an idea that has already been done, and then improving it so much more. Apple does this the whole time, and when they present it to people, they are fooled into thinking that it is an original idea. Like multitasking on the ...

Patience Peaceful_Jelly, I know it sucks but whatever issues that Sony is encountering with the PlayStation Network and its related services will be fixed soon. I'm pretty sure they are working like crazy to fix this as this is time and money they are losing.

In the meantime, there are DOZENS of things for you to do when the PlayStation Network is down. I'm 100% CERTAIN that there are some single player games out there to take your attention during this time.

This is very similar to the original game's scenario. The original game came with an Uncharted 2 Multiplayer code.

They're probably playing the GeoHot card...taking advantage of something or a situation and claiming that you are the one responsible for it, and taking all the credit.

Either way I think that we're going to have to wait and see what's going on and whether it will be solved. This has to be the longest outage in the history of the PSN. 9 hours ago, I was still trying to access the PSN. I just woke up this morning, turned on the PS3 and nope, still can't sign in!

Wait...could it be those pesky little annoying Anons? If so, then congratulations, you are doing the exact opposite of consumer protection you a-holes.

Edit: I don't know whether it's the Anons or just a huge problem that needs to be fixed. Like someone mentioned - someone tripped over the PSN cable and they're getting fired. This shit is starting to really bug me. I had some Portal gaming planned with my friends, a Killzone 3 match and Dead Space 2 planned...now...
