"The exec told Impress Watch (via Andriasang) that retail NGP games will ship on a custom memory card format, and that each game card will have rewritable space to store save data and downloadable content."
thats sounds like a good idea.
i dont understand why EA doesnt use steamworks... what is it with them? do they hate steam???
@kancerkid
thats true. but at an event that your internet connection goes out then what, LOL
Lets be honest here, people who are ranting or making negtive comments about the NGP is pretty much because they are skeptical about it due to the PSP not doing well in the west, which is understandable.
But, people shouldn't be talking out of their butt either. everything will become clear this E3. Besides, the NGP is off to a great start with Developers and most of the media. their first impressions are positive, and the devs think sony got it figured out this time ...
OMG. insomniac Did it again...
BTW: 0:30, pwnt...
well thats what they get for westernizing. Namco Bandai, like Capcom are out of touch with gamers in the west. they dont get we still want games from Japan.
games like enslaved taught them a lesson.
give this guy a medal
damn, seven disagrees? looks like stealth20k has some multiple accounts
GPS was on the PSP1. it was sold as an accessory. a bunch of games took advantage of it, like MGS: portable ops to recruit more soldiers. now that its standard, expect to see some unique implementations with this ability.
$300 or bust.
thats what ken kutaragi would say lol
no. this is just a concept. showing you the possibilities of what you can do to with the NGP.
HERE WE GO, LOL DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!! !!!!!!
TOO LITTLE TOO LATE!!
TOO MUCH TOO LATE (WTF? isnt too much better? i like my variety!)
so its looking like NGP will have 2 versions, so thats good news.
EDIT: im hoping that they dont region lock the games. if you can play PSP games that were region free, then the NGP shouldnt be all different either. theres some imports that i would be interested in as soon as they release it.
well advertising is going to be there. Sony is obviously going to have a huge marketing campaign for this, so what it comes down to is GAMES and PRICE.
If they bring in a hefty amount of games that take advantage of the portable, built from the ground up for it, and a price tag that is around $250-$300, then this thing will sell like hotcakes.
iphone has no buttons. why bring that up? its not a dedicated gaming handheld, the NGP is. its real competition is the 3DS. if they can price it competitively against the 3DS, it has a chance.
LOL, good job predicting the price gamestop.
Rage NGP anyone?
Syphon Filter on PSP2 would pretty much fix all the problems that the Syphon Filter PSP version had, like the lack of that analog stick.
Wow.
um, wat?
