they lose about $40 for every PS3 sold. the slim is a PS3 with Cheap parts such as the plastic casing, the cheaper, more efficient chips, and some chips that are not required to be on the system anymore, which is probably *emulated thru software(<----* Dont take that statement for granted).
this all comes down to a Cheaper PS3, and possibly a quick profit for the games division, which is what investors demand of course.

i didnt realize that the PS3 version gets the leftovers such as 4 playable characters instead of just 1, online co-op for the special mission mode they are adding, the Trophies, the new levels which are adding in the single player campaign, a camera view that got changed from the 360 version, not to mention, No Frame Rate issues. Oh, and a game that actually runs in HD and superior visuals only found on the PS3 version of the game of course.

ask Activision and Blizzard. knowing Activision they wont allow it till they see a PS3 price cut, as for Blizzard, that's another story. I Still think the PC is good for an RTS, but we will see what happens in the future with the inclusion of Motion controls on a console.

Not really. Sigma was a remake of the original. it was a whole new engine designed for the PS3. it was never a port.
the reason why NGS2 runs in 720p instead of full 1080p is because there's so much stuff going on screen.
im pretty sure it will upscale to 1080p at least.
