Before you downplay it's sales, just remember that each entry in the Fable series has outsold Uncharted, Killzone, LBP, Infamous... Yes Fable is that huge.
Previous GTs sold well because they were bundled to hell with the PSX and the PS2.
By the way, the best selling GT sold as much in the US as it did in Europe.
Pre-orders aren't high for GT5 because people just don't give a sh!t.

Fifa is on two consoles, Halo Reach is on only one.
I'll compare MW2/Black Ops sales to GT5 whenever that one comes out.

VG reports sold to consumers, while Sony reports sold to retailers (shipped).
If that were really the case multiplats would be selling more on PS3 than they do on the X360.
