Well, I expect a game that has 3M people online at the same time to lag a little on launch day. I wish it wans't like that but lets be realistic here.
What do you expect, there were about 3M people playing the game on XBL a little while ago? I'm even surprised XBL hasn't crashed yet. BTW there are 700k players on PSN playing Black Ops right now so lag is expected there s well.
2.7M people disagree with you. Call of duty is best played on XBL and the entire world knows this.
Time is money why should the waste it on the PS3? The both had the same dev time, blame Sony for making their console this way not the devs.

BS. I got MW2 a week before it was officially released and the game had it already (on the X360).
It matches you up with the person/people closest to you geographically. MW2 X360 already had this and it kept matching me up with people in my town. It was awesome, I'm glad it's back.

They did buy Bungie and Rare and look what they've become: Rare is just an empty shell and Bungie left them.
I'm guessing this is why they just prefer having contracts with 3rd paty studios nowadays
Rare and Lionhead have expanded though (each of them bought a new studio) and 343i keeps expanding but we still don't really know what they're up to.
They gave Uncharted 2, 21/20, God of war 3, 19/20... and now they're biased againt Sony because they gave GT5 15/20!?
