I own a 360 Elite and the new PS3 Slim, with games it's all subjective to your taste, however if you want the ultimate Home Cinema experience with a console the PS3 wins easily.
With the new slim also supporting hdmi 1.3a the ability to play Bluray HD Audio via Bitstream to a compatible HD Amplifier makes the win even greater.

I have played it thanks, i was involved in the multiplayer beta anyone who has played the first Uncharted knows what to expect.
Anyone even remotely familiar with Naughty Dog knows they are without doubt one of the best game developers in the world.
Do you seriously think Uncharted 2 isn't going to be every bit as good as we all expect.

Fantastic news, the multiplayer closed beta was fantastic i am so looking forward to this. The first is my favorite single player game on ps3, i suspect this will change to Uncharted 2
With the added bonus of multiplayer this has to make Uncharted 2 an essential purchase.

You can justify your Monster cables to yourself if you want, Hdmi carries uncompressed digital information which doesn't suffer from dropouts or picture degradation so it either works or it doesn't, you will see no different whatsoever with a £100 or a £5 cable.
I run a pretty high end home cinema system running into the several thousands off pounds, i run expensive cabling throughout my setup besides the hdmi connections, they are £7.99 hdmi leads from play.com
I suggest before posting you actually know what your posting about, plenty of blurays support 7.1 as do plenty of ps3 games, i have been enjoying 7.1 with ps3 and bluray for well over two years.

I hope they are revamping all the old classics like Sam and Max, Day of the Tentacle, Fate of Atlantis, Monkey Island etc etc and releasing them on the PSN/Live services.
I love the old point and click adventures and not just the Lucasarts ones classics like Kings Quest VI and Beneath a Steal Sky are still fantastic games, i still play some of them via ScumVM but having playable ones on my 360 or ps3 would be fantastic.

RARE are a talented bunch that is not in doubt, however the Ultimate Play The Game, Snes and N64 era where every game they release got universally acclaimed are long gone.
A developer living on it's pasts high standards are what they seem to be imo so yes i think they have been a waste of money as they were never going to deliver what Microsoft hoped they would.

Marvel v's Capcom 2 is great no doubt about it however saying it's the best is so far from the truth it's made me comment about it
For a start SFIII Third Strike and Virtua Fighter are infinitely superior, if we are sticking with 2d fighters some of the Neo Geo fighters are better. Garou Mark of the Wolves or even Samurai Showdowm deserve a mention so does Guilty Gear X or Darkstalkers/Vampire Chronicles/Saviour

I honestly do not care what resolution it runs at, all i know is it looks stunning on my 42inch plasma. I played this most of last night along with seven friends via PSN with no issues whatsoever until the early hours.
The game is simply incredible to look at and it plays even better, puts a whole new meaning to the term "silky smooth"

alas my friend you are the one who needs to get a grip, i am lucky enough to be a Sony Beta tester because i met the criteria they required, i was invited by Sony Europe to be one.
Europe is a very big place with many ps3 owners, Beta testers are very few and far between but if you met the criteria and they required a beta tester i am sure you would be one.

I am an official Sony Beta tester i was invited to be one by Sony Europe , to qualify for this you have to be registered on the official Sony Playstation website other criteria are how much time you spend on the PSN etc.
if you meet the criteria they are looking for they will invite you to be a beta tester.
I cannot talk about any beta test or i could have my Beta rights removed but all i can say is even with a Killzone 2 459mb beta it's one of the best multiplayer fps i have play...
As far as lists go they are all subjective, however I don't think anybody can argue with TLOU being at the top.
Certainly the best game of 2013 so far, I would only rate one game higher for the entire generation that being Dark Souls.
