As a ex First Lieutenant in the army I'd like to say that shooting a gun in a first person shooter is NOTHING like shooting a real gun. Not only does clicking a mouse button not feel anything like holding a real gun,(in fact, it doesn't even feel like holding a toy gun) it's also NOTHING LIKE FIRING A REAL GUN. AT ALL.
Planting C4 in a FPS is REMOTELY close to the actual act of planting real C4,(though not really) but the guns are an absolute joke.

GH Aerosmith was a full priced game costing $20 more.
Also, this is ACDC, they don't let any of their music to be sold digitally. No where on iTunes or anywhere can you buy ACDC songs, they hate digital distribution.
It would appear they don't want HMX/EA distributing their songs electronically as well.
ALSO, all the tracks from the disc can be ripped onto your hard drive for FREE so you can play the songs in RB2 as if they were DLC.

GH:WT is gonna suck for so many reasons, and your buying it because it's coming out about the same time here as in the US? Yeah, that makes sense.
I think you'll find Activision's pricing for GH:WT will be more ridiculous than this.

I don't agree. GH will sell a lot because of it's brand name Harmonix created for it. RB2 sales will be great, but although the game will be superior, it's sales won't match that of GH

It's a pity the Pumpkins had to sign with GH instead of RB. Now they're doomed to be in the poorly made game where people wont enjoy they awesomeness nearly as much.
GH has an alright setlist, but with all its gameplay flaws, bad instrument design and gimmicky crap like the song maker and in game musicians there's no way I'm buy it.
I spose the inclusion of Pumpkins, Tool and Living End warrants a rental though.

GH has no chance of beating RB as far as game quality goes. Sales maybe, but not quality.
I dunno about RB2 being BETTER than being in a real band. It's certainly, cheaper, easier, and more accessible than starting a real band though.

This "pay by the GB" system is all that we have in Australia and we dont have any problems playing online games.
My friend signed up with Telstra (Aussie phone company with a huhg monopoly) and in 1 month downloaded 9GB, they tried charging him $1700 for it because he was on a 200MB/month plan.
I pay $70 a month for 40GB of downloads, and that's pretty reasonable down here.

Eh, the Guitar Hero drums suck. Havin 2 cymbals is so limitting, I dont see how they can chart songs or make them fun to play.
Plus RB will have the 500 songs by the end of the year and continue releasing more after that. Have activision said how they're handling DLC?
GH:WT will cost just as much (or more) plus it's a crappier game.
Also, Yesah, there's a dude from europe flying to the US to pick up RB2 and an Ion drum kit... pretty crazy.

Still, EA screwed up big time, which is a pity considering overall the RB franchise is better than the games Neversoft and Activision are releasing.
Well, im pickin this game up in a few hours. Mostly because its for my bro's bday, but also coz i want precious precious trophies.
I'm going to be continually amazed with the stupidity of people who thing that the GH drums are better than the RB ones because they have cymbals.
a Set of 3 optional cymbals (Rock Band) is so much better than 2 cymbals placed in crap positions (GH:WT)
