I would have preferred Valve, Google, or CD project. Now Sony on the other hand has always preferred to make their own hardware whether is Playstation, Vaio Computers, Sony Smart Phones, etc. Case in point Morpheus is Sony's way of saying we can do vr we don't need the rift

Yes is true there is a lot of articles about Sony in the red; however, those bloody Sony TVs, home theater, etc. never go down in price. If a company is in the red one the company would lower the prices of their product, two heavily market their product, downsize and restructure their company. The only thing Sony has done is the last one. The problem with sales is the lack of record for digital distribution sales, catalog sales, and no record of imports/export sales. So by going...

I don't know why you get disagrees when you posted an intelligent comment not based on emotions but on facts.

Nintendo has never targeted adult gamers or hard-core gamers at all. It has always been children and pre-teens. Sega before becoming a software only company was the one that targeted hardcore gamers. Look at Jurassic Park for SNES compared to the Genesis version or better yet look at Mortal Kombat for both Genesis and super Nintendo.... The last part I do agree with

Ummm why can no one admit that Nintendo is the Disney/Pixar of gaming. That Nintendo's targeted audience is kids, pre-teens, and people that are child at heart. Knowing and understanding this we can move on from the hollowness of sales to what is really important do these games appeal it's targeted audience, do the games bring innovation, creativity, and gaming experiences that say audience has not experienced before. By answering these questions we can get the answers as to ...

!!!!!!! HEAVY SPOILERS!!!!!!!

I may not agree with what the author of say article wrote and he is entitled to his/her opinion except for episode 3 which personally I agree with the author. The episode was rushed, and Carver was not fully developed and got killed too easily. I also did not like that we were not allowed to talk with any survivors inside carvers shelter or used them to go against Carver. Didn't like the idea of bringing in the zombies running into the...

I will get this game for PC. Is perfectly suited for PC gamers. Anyhow this game showed mainstream game developers the creativity, innovation, and a true next-generation game offering a gaming experience unlike anything before it. Pretty much putting mainstream game developers to shame.

Excellent blog not sure about Nintendo, for Nintendo is sticking to the same franchises from yesteryear with a tiny small difference. The one thing you forgot to mention was the combination of online with the single player campaign. For example both the division and destiny start off as single player games but as the game moves forward it becomes online. So will this be the generation that an online game gets a persistent story to go with it. That would be sweet, and at the same time ...

Yeah I do that sometimes go into a steam forum post about an issue I have with a game. I always get an answer maybe not politely but hey it solves the issue at hand

The few games heavily requested by PC gamers were dark souls, red dead redemption, and GTA V. PC gamers can play all of Nintendo games thanks to a free program called Dolphin. On top of that can use the wii nun chuck. Second the master race the worse really, wasn't console gamers who gave in to pay to play online yet, who were ok with dlc, who gave in to remastered, reboots, and are ok with paying $60.00 plus tax for games and love getting nickel and dime to death. In contrast P...

The charge to play online for one
DLC becoming the norm replacing map editors and free unlockables.

Getting nickel and dime for every little thing becoming the norm......

Is ok to sell consoles in pieces and fragile as well.

I was hoping for a well written intelligent blog alas is not to be. To say PC elitists are hurting the game industry is laughable. FYI PC gaming is not just about visuals, a true PC game will always be more complex, more detailed, and have more depth than a console game. For example xenonauts is far more complex than xcom enemy unknown. Despite xcom looking a lot better than xenonauts which is exclusive to PC. Another example would be Miasma which requires basic chemistry knowledge, car...

Actually PC gamers have done a lot for the gaming industry via mods. Mods like Half Life from team fortress to counter strike have become successful commercial games. TeamSpeak, Mambo, etc are online voice communication services run by the community not a company. I do hate to admit but yeah the Xbox fan base did a lot of damage to the gaming industry by allowing corporations to charge to play online, is OK for consoles to be fragile, DLC, etc.

I deeply miss Midway the developers behind spy hunter, NFL blitz, MLB slugfest, hydrdothunder, etc. One of the few game developers, to make arcade racers/sports titles.

Bad, Sony needs to make it like Netflix if it wants Playstation Now to succeed.

4385d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

No, I wanted Playstation Now to be the Netflix of gaming. Basically for $10.00 a month able to play any game, on any platform, anytime, anywhere. The way is set up it only benefits the publisher/developer while gamers get screwed again. Ugh!!! can't gamers get their cake and eat it for once.
