I do not get it
I wanted for Microsoft to go the digital route. Microsoft would of saved millions of dollars (no more variable costs in transportation, storage fees, and repairs; no more manufacturing costs). Us gamers could of gotten:
Xbox family share plan
Lower prices for games
Loyalty Program
Coupons, discounts, sales, etc.
Mods would be easier to make
Digital is the future, holding on to consoles leads to an expensive gaming expe...
Very good article and is true if scorpio tanks then Microsoft does not lose much. That is because all those Xbox Exclusives are coming exclusively to Windows Universal Platform or UWP for short. I also want to point out that gamers may need to upgrade their Windows 7 to Windows 10 in order to enjoy the xbox exclusives on Windows. It is a win win for Microsoft. That is if and only if UWP is successful and for that Microsoft needs to turn UWP open. The other option is to go mobile which nobody ...
Mods would be great on consoles. Mods are way better than DLC that is for sure
Kojima san said his first game would come to PC:
http://www.polygon.com/2015...
So does it mean Death Stranding is coming to PC after 1 year of being PS4 exclusive.
Can't wait for this game; anyways, he is going philosophical on us again. Basically is a game centered about connections not just mindless shooting, am I right or wrong.
Well I am stocked for this game, yay coming to PC, coming from Kojima san the greatest videogame developer of all time.
I am still dissapointed in this new direction for both Microsoft and Sony. These two corporations want to hang on to an antiquated, outdated business model as opposed to a gaming service were both of these corporations could of save millions of dollars.
After the Scorpio and Neo we gamers will see the rise of cloud gaming in conjunction with digital. No need for new consoles after the Neo and Scorpio.
In what way has DX12 help gaming and Microsoft has not utilize the cloud at all for gaming. 4K gaming on consoles is just more hype and rainbows. Come on both Sony and Microsoft promised HD gaming years ago and quite frankly they have not delivered on that front. Let us focus on the gameplay mechanics and be schocked that it has not evolved since the PS2 era. We talk about framerates, resolution, VR, and while nice; gameplay mechanics remain the same. I ask why gamers have not demanded for ga...
Basically we as.consumers have been guinea pigs to these corporations for too long. When both the xbox 360 and PS3 launched we were led to believe that HD gaming had arrived; instead, xbox 360 owners got a vast majority of games at standard definition with a couple of 720p games and 30 frames per second. Sony delivered 10a couple of 1080p games (mostly indie games) along with 1080i ganes at 30 frames per second. Now we look at the PS4 and Xbox One still struggling to render games at HD.
Too much focus on the fluffy side of gaming; gameplay mechanics are in dire need of an upgrade. The gameplay mechanics have not really changed since the PS2 days. That is sad
More fluff to the games lol
With overclocked tablet/notebook hardware, you expect 1st class VR. Oh boy!!
Yes it does get over it
LoL, do not forget that Netflix, Hulu, and among other multimedia services have dethroned cable and are capable of delivering 4K content
You being sarcastic I will leave it at that
Surprised you got disagrees but you are telling the truth
Really this is the most bonehead decision ever made by Sony and Microsoft.
PC gamer failed to show major exclusives for PC. It would of being nice to see Deus de Generis (I may have misspelled it), P.A.M.E.L.A. or an announcement that day z is finally out of early access that would of being huge....
