Thank-you for the kind words!
Calm down, the Resident Evil 2 remake isn't even finished yet.
Nothing to see here in regards to Xbox One. The only thing linking to Xbox One is the slide talking about modifications to the engine renderer - Believe it or not, Unreal Engine 4 runs on Xbox One too.
The amount of stupid in this comment is overwhelming.
1) I made a game, It was terrible. Still made one (Did you?)
2) I run Kitatus. 5 million hits. I know what I'm talking about when it comes to Unreal Engine you jackass.
3) I'm actually a developer and not an armchair warrior on here who hears buzz words like "Unreal" or "Engine" and thinks he actually knows what he's talking about because he read an article ...
This hurt my head reading. I develop projects in Unreal Engine 4 and laughed through a lot of what you're saying. An engine saves time spent working on an engine but if a game is projected to take three years, It would still take three years. Think of all the code, art assets, Q and A and everything in between that has to happen before a game is ready for release.
Please make sure you know what you're talking about before writing such a laughable blogpost.
All I care about is if we'll ever see Timesplitters. Damn I miss that game so bad.
Surely most people who purchased have the other games in the series already? What a strange move. Better than nothing though; They didn't owe us diddily shit; Just a "Working" game.
I think he's talking about Backward Compat.
Yeah, And is dedicated to clickbait titles lately it seems.
Why was this accepted? This is just an ad for a game.
... You do realize this isn't using the PBR shader in-game right? This is standard for video-game development; There's no need to use PBR in 3DS Max - It's just wasted performance while working.
Kingdom of the Flies (The more "Satisfying" ending of the game would like a conversation with you.
"you guys don't want to play my games" - I do! :)
@SnotyTheRocket - It may be four missions but it's literally the end of the game. Imagine if you were in a movie theatre and they kicked you out when the movie had 15 minutes left. Or if you had a book that blew up in your face when you reached the last four chapters.
And it's not me that's crying - It's my understanding of the situation that others are feeling.
"Do actually gamers know in what time line is this game??" - Yes. MGS4 is the "Last" game but this is in between PW / MG1. It's an in between game that's supposed to tie as many loose ends as possible.
The reasons fans are angry is because the "Cut" content seems to be the actual ending to the game. Like seriously - As it stands, When you look at the cut content it feels like the MGSV we got is just the start - middle - With the cut cont...
Let's face it; You were going to do it anyway.
You were just looking for an excuse to make it seem like you were "Putting the middle finger up to the man" when in reality; It just shows the glaring problems with the community today.
I get Konami are being freakin' dicks at the moment, But doesn't mean you have to be too.
People forget that without a team Kojima is nothing. As much as Kojima was an inspiration for me to follow my career, It's all Kojima-this, Kojima-that - They seem to completely ignore the fact that the team that brought his ideas are also affected by all of this. But because they're not "Famous" for their hard work (Kojima ends up with all the credit somehow), They just get swept under the rug.
It's a shame. As much as I love Kojima, His team really des...
Because games are stupidly expensive to make and unless you want to pay more for the games - Then it's a small compromise to keeping games the price they are. Even though development costs + inflation = Games that we should be paying more for but we're not.
@Ashlen - Obviously, Because you sign NDA stuff, You'll never really know how much it is.
But what I can say is this: One of you is correct. And it's not you.
Source: I'm a dev. (Obviously not using my studio's name).
Amen to that, Homefront is sadly the closest weird going to get, looking at the facts. I hope I am wrong though.
