I'd give it a 7/10. It's a good game but it's the same tired formula and I think it's time for a change. Yes the frontier is cool and they made some solid improvements but at the end of the day I feel like I played this game 5 times already. And yes I've beaten every AC game.
I expect on PS4 that I could reach everything on the interface seamlessly while in-game running multiple tasks (party chat running, in-game, and browsing the internet at the same time) then resume back to the game. All games should run 60fps in 1080p flawlessly. Of course in next-gen we should see advances detail, AI, and game play.
A dedicated console will most definitely do that
Day 1
Agree. PS4 is going to be an amazing console along with free online and most likely will offer free party chat too (Vita offers it for free). Not to mention the variety of exclusives to look forward to.
I skipped the Wii because I'm not a fan of motion gaming even though I missed out on some great games. But since the main focus is back to conventional gaming for the most part I will gladly pick up a Wii U (got it on preorder). Zombie U looks good and Bayonetta 2 is exclusive plus Monster Hunters next yr. The system has nice potential and there's no forced subscription in order to use the full capabilities of the system. It's all about the games and value for me. PS4 + Wii U will...
It will be a viable option. For myself, I will be going with the PS4 + Wii U combo
@ eferreira
Do you not understand what a true survival horror game is?
looking forward to this game
We're not talking about demos. You download the the full game of a "retail" game and you can try it out for an hour. That's not on xbox. That's like downloading whatever game on "games on demand" and having an hour to play it.
PS Plus is easily a great service.
@ Summons
Just like your renting access to play online on the 360 for a game that you already paid for. As soon as you stop subscribing your online access is denied. Only thing is that subscription is a scam because STEAM and PSN provide that for free. I'll take a games subscription over anything I've seen so far.
As for the article, Sony should not follow MS footsteps. I believe that tactic shouldn't be in the gaming market because if you can...
I've beaten both and I would say Dishonored appeals to me more. I love the world and I felt like it has more sandbox gameplay than HR
@ Irish
Console generations does NOT go by tech. Wow some people amaze me
That's the excuse I hear from MS fanboys all the time. "Microsoft have let their hardcore gaming slip on the 360 because they're really concentrating on being the kings of the hardcore game next gen." I guess MS has been concentrating on next-gen games since 2009. Sony already has the biggest world wide studios so you know the games will be there and but to have party chat for free while online is free is a 1...2 punch IMO. I really don't understand how people fork over ...
@ Loki
Xbox gamers don't even buy Forza like that. While each Forza sells like 1.5 to 2 mil lifetime GT5 sells 8 million. Who's really the top dog in driving simulators? I'll take GT physics over forza's any day.
They were just using gamers as a starting base
That's why I said this has no business in the gaming industry. By me saying that means I acknowledge that it's being done in other industries
Another MS tactic that has no business in the gaming industry. But what do I know people love paying to play p2p gaming online
MS has "Consumer demand is so high". So if that's the case how high is Sony's demand considering that they have been outselling 360 world wide for years now. The way sales have been going 360 could be passed up by QTR 2 2013.
