People need to understand when a new generation starts everything starts at zero. Nothing is guaranteed. This next-gen MS won't have a head start and will most likely won't be the cheapest either. And MS consoles don't have the world wide appeal like playstation consoles. Sony looks like to me that they are not playing around this next gen. They seem to be making all the right moves so far
I hope people can understand what they are saying. The PS4 will be powerful and actually it's rumored to be slightly stronger than the next xbox. They are just saying the "selling point" will be the social features and new ways to play...etc. It's just marketing they are talking about. You won't be seeing by "the power of the PS4" type marketing because quite frankly the casual consumer doesn't care about that. Us hardcore gamers already know how strong it ...
I bought the PS3 at launch for $600. Of course I would spend $400 on the PS4
Yeah like Sony is really going to invite the media from all the corners of the earth and investors just to announce a game or service. Don't over think it...it's the PS4
Picking up Sly tomorrow
stop over thinking everything. It's the PS4. Tons of insiders have confirmed it and the WSJ isn't going to get it wrong. And Sony isn't going to invite the media from all over the world and especially investors if it wasn't something big.
I hope Rockubot disappears.
WSJ said they are 100% sure its the PS4. And when media and especially investors are getting invited from all over the world it's because the PS4 is going to be unveiled.
@Enigma
You obviously don't know what you're talking about. Platinum never made the PS3 port of Bayonetta but they did develop both Vanquish and Max Anarchy in which they ran perfectly fine. The PS3 was the lead platform for Vanquish.
That's why I'm a big fan of Platinum games because that's what they always do.
Not saying VGChartz numbers are correct. But shipped vs sold are two different numbers
Do we always have to go over this?
A year late and making the console $599 because of the manufacturing cost of blu-ray at the time. Due to that they were always behind in the pricing edge. Many people chose the cheaper option and still do even today (4GB Xbox is $199 while cheapest PS3 in America is $270). With that being said they are slightly ahead or dead even with the 360.
Next-gen they won't make those mistakes. They won't be a year late and th...
I'm on PS3 version too. Just push up (or direction your facing) + square
On my 8th run with the demo and I'm getting so good with the combat. I blasted through everything and the boss for that matter. It's about understanding how to move and parrying. Blade mode is so fun especially after you string together attacks and then instantly jump into blade mode. The demo doesn't really tell you how to play you just have to fool around with it and you will realize how deep the game is. Love this game
don't see what the big deal is. You can still use your PS3 controller
Metal Gear Rising is all mine. Platinum games are my favorite studio
The 22nd can't come soon enough
These tracks will most likely appear in GT6
yes. The majority of people who buy consoles this late in the generation are casuals. No matter if they are getting a good deal or not... entry price matters to them.
they need to save something for e3
