think about it. Like you said, by the time Overstrike comes out, R3 will be at least a year old. By then the game will be $30-$40 (more than likely $30). why would you buy Overstrike for $60 when you can get the same 8-player co-op experience for $30 on a game that has an amazing single player experience as well.
Overstrike is basically R2's 8 player co-op turned into a whole game. They could have easily implemented it into R3 but they didn't want to cannobalize Overstrike's potential sales. This is pretty much obvious and I know I won't be getting Overstrike.

I like that they're utilizing more of Robin for this DLC, but I hope there's more story DLC down the way. I want them to utilize Nightwing, the character doesn't even have a voice track and it would be a shame for them to only have him for the challenge maps, with a complete move set but no voice over. Unfortunately though I think I read somewhere that this is the last DLC for this game. Hopefully this isn't true, specially if it sells great.
