During the time Resistance 2 came out, I don't think there was a single FPS on consoles that did 8 player co-op and 60 player competitive. Of course it's going to take a toll on the graphics. Why are some people so shortsided of this?
I know right, art style and design alone has been done on every single shooter out there. Not to mention the graphics bar, which has been far outdone by games like Homefront and Bulletstorm to name a few, on consoles /s

Yeah me too. I still rock SSFIVAE a good amount. On the PS2 days there were only a handful of games that I did everything I could in them. The Simpsons Hit and Run (for that secret 3D Itchy and Scratchy episode) and Jak and Daxter 1 (for the secret ending), also War of the Monsters (because that game was awesome)
Lol same reason why I don't care to play my friend in Super Puzzle Fighter II HD for PSN.
Or the Street Fighter 4 series
What if the Resistance franchise is handed to GG? That would be cool
I haven't bought a single collection yet, but this is one I will just not avoid.

You know I just think it's funny how this will go largely forgotten once NPD rolls around and the usual MS suspects will hit twitter to feed the drones. Nintendo always had 3rd party support. It starts out good for the first 3 years and then once they see that Nothing sells even remotely close to Zelda/Mario/Pokemon then that support just fizzles out. Happened with the Gamecube and the N64, the Wii being the biggest example.
I went into the future guys. Uncharted 3 was soooo good that they genetically enhanced a human to bring Drake to real life.
