Kojima said before this quote that he wanted to release it on as many consoles/platforms as possible...it wouldn't surprise me if they release it on vita and pc along with ps4, xbox one, 360 and ps3.

Battlefield 3 sold more on pc, VGcharts doesn't count digital sales, which, 90% of PC users do. There are also more people on any given day playing on steam, and steam alone; mind you that is excluding things like mmos and free to play social games, than both current gen consoles combined. that's all I ask is that it feels darker, and more mature...I feel kingdom hearts 2 was a step in the right direction, then all the games after reverted to the first one. Square-enix could release it as a psn title, problem solved...tons of money in their pocket. Ps3, psp, psv, ps4 compatable, because it's a psn title, would be the best way to go about it.
Before I get hate replies I will start by saying I am getting the ps4 this gen, but I have to admit...this game looks just as fun as it's predecessors maybe even more.
Too bad mister gameboy, I am 23...I have never gotten a console at launch, but I am going to this time because to me it is probably a once in a lifetime experience. In 10 years when the next console generation comes out I will be 33, and will probably still play games but not as much as I will probably have a steady job and a family, I probably won't have the time or the drive to buy one at launch for the rest of my life.

Final Fantasy VI, Locke, Terra, Sabin, Edgar, Cyan, Gau, Setzer, Kefka, Shadow they all have more depth than any character in ff7, fact! Final Fantasy 7 is overrated. I think every character is not even 2D. They are all so boring and lifeless. Crisis Core is much better than 7.
Voice acting costs for all dialog (which remember there is quite a bit), actually rewriting some of the story because of the plot holes (something there's quite a bit of, which people don't realize), rewriting an engine that will support turn based (Luminous engine will be the graphics engine, not the gameplay engine and will most likely support action combat over turned based at first so if they even keep turn based they will have to rewrite a lot), the fact that it will be so differ...

I'm with this guy, I do not like 7. I love 4, 6, 8, and 10 those are my favorites. 7 was boring to me and it's not that I didn't beat it or didn't understand it, I beat it twice and understand it perfectly. It bored the shit out of me. I don't understand the love for it. The world is boring, the story is boring, characters are boring. The combat is the only thing good about it, and honestly 6 had a more advanced combat system. I know for a fact that games like FFXIV:ARR on pc automatically detect 360/ps3 controllers (when set up using a driver that emulates a 360 controller) and have button layouts for both a/b/x/y and x/circle/square/triangle...So I think it is safe to assume they were already on that page when they developed the game and I think it is also safe to assume a lot of games that are in development are already working on it too.
