Hahahaha. for real man!
I don't think it's blocking it so much as making sure you're familiar with the concepts and lore. From what I've read they're really trying to treat this like a living world not just a lobby based online shooter.
The way I see it is that it's their game and their experience. I'm glad they're sticking to their guns and not letting the whiney internet forcefully change and manipulate their game. Too many cooks in the kitchen usually ruins everything...
meteoritic should drop the two highest and lowest scores, this would cut out the extremes and show the real median score...
The only negative one I've seen was Kotaku. This one said that the combat is great, he's just getting apprehensive due to the lack of details about the story/character motivation.
I wouldn't worry just yet...
Agree... most terrifying game I've ever played to date as well.
I think the issue is that all the demos shown thus far have not featured PvP. That's where the adrenaline feeling comes from ... fighting against another human squad. She compared this to Titanfall and to CoD and said it didn't have the same impact... well no shit you basically played "horde mode". Wait till some PvP previews come out before comparing to team based multiplayer games geez I'm not even a journalist and I figured this out... wtf.
This game should totally have an NG+ mode where you can start the story again with tougher enemies and all your powers from the previous play through.
I just sold my copy for $25 on glyde so now I'll technically be getting this game for $35. Well worth it I'd say!
Yeah I missed it when it came out, but then it was free on PS+ and it's one of Capcom's best games last gen. Feel like a jerk for not knowing about this game earlier...
I'm with you on this. He def started getting weird towards the end... annnnnd he's not technically good enough at games to review them anyway, I watched a few lets plays and he acts the same way I imagine my mom would if I gave her a controller. o_O
I played through it with no issues at all... in fact the world physics aside from the odd bug or two (to be expected in an open world game) were some of the best I've ever seen to date.
Wholeheartedly disagree man, I've platy'd the other two infamousness and this one is leagues above them. The variety of powers alone and fun ways to traverse the city give this one the edge, add in enemy ai, boss battles, gameplay and story and it's no contest.
This game is the best in the series hands down in my opinion.
The more I think about it the more I feel like the purposefully dialed down the lighting so that when they release the inevitable next-gen definitive edition, the difference is night and day and everyone will happily double dip.
Bastards... whatever, I'm getting it on next gen as well, can't help it.
There's rumors of a Demon's Souls 2 in the works for PS4. This may be why the lead for the original Demon's/Dark Souls 1 wasn't actively working on DS2.
Yep, without a doubt... I was trying to hold out and made it till about 8pm on release day. Needless to say... but I'll be double dipping for sure. :/
Took the words right out of my mouth.
The framerate is def a bit substandard but I've realized that it generally only happens really badly when it's loading a new area (when you pull a lever to open a huge door etc.) Def would like to see that fixed tho for sure...
Is it happening everywhere for you? I've only played a few hours and just beaten that long spider armed boss guy
Seems harder to me... at least in the beginning when you don't have any stats or weapons... almost threw my controller a few times... -___-
An article from a site called "microsoftproductreviews. com"... common bro, what'd you think they were gonna say... lel
