In Jan 2007 there was a 'tech demo' of Ghostbusters "leaked" onto the internet. This tech demo was run through the Zootfly's engine for TimeO.
They did it to generate some buzz for their own game. They weren't aware, and no one else was, that Sierra was close to closing the deal for the rights to their Ghostbusters game.
Man!
My throws in bowling hook to the right too. No matter how straight I think I'm swinging my arm it still hooks right.
I wonder if it is because I set my throw as left handed and that is a natural hook to it for the game mechanics?
I just can't get into the game.
I pick it up here and there but I just cannot for the life of me get into the game.
I blame the driving mechanics.
If I wanna play a video game it is for entertainment not realism.
It will never happen.
Do you know how many pissed off buisness travelers you'd have to deal with that travel daily, weekly, and montly internationally? Now they would have to wait 30-40 minutes ( invision this as like a virus scan ) while some border police scans your entire laptop, ipod, etc?
You'd have a riot on your hands.
Oh! If we're playing the look game then:
FFXIII looks emo.
Which will make it less than average in its eyeshadow and black wristbands.
Come on.
Didn't you learn anything in school? Like you can't judge a book by its cover? Infinite Undiscovery looks like it could be solid.
Personally, I'm keeping an eye on Operation Darkness first.
Just because PS3's latest killer app got torn apart doesn't mean you PS3 fanboys can come over here and start trying to drag down every 360 exclusive because one of yours got sucker punched.
Grow up.
Edit @ Gaming God:
Well, I don't troll the PS3 threads so I wouldn't know about that type of behavior.
I call what I see over here.
I disagreed because you're lumping the hardcore crowd and those xbox users into the same group but giving them different answers.
Those that would have made up their mind after E3 in 2006 and will not purchase it are probably the same group of people that are reading this website and changing their mind about the product.
There is also a large less-than hardcore audience out there that probably will go off the rating in the magazine instead of trying to remember...
Way to show how much of a fanboy you are.
... that Final Fantasy is not the end-all be-all of RPGs ...
There are other GOOD RPGs out there other than Final Fantasies...
Now, this comment is intended as an unbiased comment, but of course the fanboys will take it for what they want it too but:
Could the Xbox 360's install base plus its lower learning curve which leads a lower development cost equal more RPGs on the 360 this generation than the PS3?
This is a legitimate question. I mean, developers have come out and said that you can successfully develop a game (Uncharted is the classic example right now) for the PS3 but it takes ...
You've just proven you can do completely new IPs and have great success with it. Why would you shoot yourself in the foot and work on tired IPs...
Will this game have a power level system like one of the old DBZ games... (I can't remember which one it was). That was fun. Building up power levels in order to win the next fight and be able to unlock newer moves and powers...
DBZ just begs for RPG elements blended into a fighting game....
Classic.
You know, you bring up an interesting point.
Perhaps the reason video game movies suck so much is that you usually have only one character and the entire story is internalized... very little character interaction. I think you lose sense of the game when you bring in all of these other characters that were never part of the cannon.
Can you imagine Samus talking to anyone... at all? Perhaps maybe a computer to converse with feeding her data etc but I couldn't imagine ...
I could care less if she had Ivy's breasts from Soul Caliber.
It looks to be mostly first person view so you wouldn't be looking at much and I'd be much more worried about how playable the game is than your ability to fap-fap-fap away at it.
And aren't there always rumours of an Xbox 720?
Man, I hope these guys are holding their breath for what they're predicting... It'd be fun to see them turn blue.
And let us not forget that the games industry is an annual multi-billion dollar printing machine... like people are just going to stop printing the Benny Franklins....
I played the crap out of Ninja. That game was fun. It was difficult enough to be frustrating at times but still enjoyable and satisfying when you finished it. Such a great challenging game. I'm surprised it was on this list as Sony had pushed hard for its advertisement.
Shame Metacritic has nothing listed for it...
The new Sonic game is multiplatformed for 360, Wii, and PS3.
I think if Sonic got rid of all the garbage characters. Stuck with the original three (Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails) you have three different polarizing personalities. Sonic being the hero, Tails being the light-hearted comic relief sidekick, and Knuckles being the badass.
I think it would be some what awesome to incorporate some RPGs elements. Sort of like what Crackdown did except the more rings and chaos emeralds you acquire the more speed and jumping height you can get.

It's a movie to video game simulatenous release.
It's going to be terrible.
Only when you release a video game based on a movie when it is ready will it be excellent (Goldeneye being a good example).
