Yes, I will be at E3 and at the Natal Event.
I haven't had the chance to see Cirque Du Soleil perform, so this will be a treat for sure. Good point about smoke and mirrors though..LOL! I had to chuckle.
That probably has a lot ot do with the manueuver. Ubisoft has been testing it the U Play feature. So I guess we'll see.
I just got confirmation from PR this morning that June 1st is in fact the release date. For real...LOL!
Well I see this discussion is useless. Where in the preview did I say it was my All Time Favorite or feel special for playing it early? I am a writer and get the chance to play many games pre-release. Thats not that big of a deal. Yes, the game is awesome. I'll leave it at that. Form your own opinion when it comes out and if you hate it or thinks its mediocre then so be it. My writing is not like the Word of God, its only an opinion. Period.
Could I have used a less impactive phrase such as "shaping up to be a great game for Xbox 360 gamers" rather than awesome? Truly though, the bottom line is I my honest opinion is the game is "awesome" from what I have gone through so far. I know all folks wont' all and thats ok. I am not trying to get in an argument at all and I respect your opinion on the heavy article action.
Why can't it be awesome? I am having a great time playing this game. Anyone a fan of any cliffhanger shows like Lost, X-Files, Twin Peaks, etc. should love this title. It really is well put together and I give credit where credit is due. Will everyone like it? Probably not, but that does not deter it from being a great game to others.
Whats wrong with posting a press release. There is no rule that says something cannot be posted verbatim, especially press releases. Notice the source: Press Release. When it arrives in my inbox, I post it up as is unless I feel something needs added.
Absolutely. The DLC will sell just as well in ratio on the PS3 as it is on the Xbox 360. Price will not be an issue with folks if they want the DLC, and people want this badly regardless of console preference. Activision is definitely smiling all the way to the bank with this DLC.
On the defense of the game, many things have been fixed. While its not perfect it is much better than it was. On the note of the price, I agree whole heartedly that it was way overpriced. I almost fell off my desk chair the first time I saw the price tag. But as you can see, everyone grabbed it as soon as it came out so I guess price wasn't an issue with most.
I completely agree. The first one had everything it needed to be a great game but it was so bugged that it failed miserably. Well here we go again, and its probably not a bad thing to set expectations low on this one. If it does turn out to be great than gamers will only praise the heck out if it. Maybe a good marketing ploy??? LOL!
I wouldnt bet on Duke this time though. Last I heard the game was cancelled completely. I would not expect to see it at E3. Duke just may actually be dead. Stranger things have happened, but I'll put my eggs in another basket for now.
Bioware influence was definitely present throughout the game, especially with the conversation pieces and the fact you could play the role as a good guy or a jerk.
Not one of those had the new screenshots included, and only one included some details from the press release that was released today, which is what I posted. Obviously others thought it was a unique story or else it wouldn't have gotten approved.
And I hope you are not implying that I approved my own posting. Thats ridiculous and why anyone would do that is beyond me.
Wasn't there when I searched and put it up for approval.
And online multiplayer does not add replayability and value to the game? I think that extends the life of any game. I am not just talking co-op. The previous SC games were played extensively online in versus mode.
LOL! Oh soooo true! Give to get.
I think with the recent slew of RPG's that have flooded the video game market, and all of them being large, make the standard game look small to some. Truly though..the game will have plenty of playtime and value for its worth.
Ouch! Well, the nice part about the game that will definitely give it longevity is the online portion of the game regardless of its single player campaign size.
The only problem is the lack of the NFL license. A lot of folks liked All Pro 2k8 but it was destined to fail without the NFL license. Fingers crossed for this one.
