You're really desperate to play with some Sony fanboys, aren't you? Don't you have plenty of Xbox fanboys already to play with? What? I can't hear you, tv sound is too loud playing GOW, Spider-Man.... Take a deep breath and ask Santa Claus, this winter, a PS4.
I can only agree with you, ouch, some fanboy (disguised as journalist) saved the day.
"For a company that talks a lot about innovation, Sony is the only one standing in the way" - something is wrong here, someone didn't inform him the retro-box is from other hardware manufacturer.
The power of futuristic engineers (Cerny) allied with a great company (Sony) and permanent support of great developers like Insomniac = Secret Sauce.
Difference from others is, this secret sauce really works!
Well, more that 50% of american players don't need xplay, because they have or can play in more than one system.
They copy everything that have success, from operating systems (Mac's vs windows) to games. They are trend followers, not trend creators. Nowadays we can ignore what they create because we are sure it's somewhat a "copy" of a sony blockbuster but with inferior quality.
Know I understand what IGN means.
@CarlDechance
I'm very sure this game won't be bug free because there's a spider permanently on-screen. LOL.
Me too! I think he made a good prediction.
In some way I can only agree with you, i.e., you should also grasp the future by buying a PS4. You can also ask your console manufacturer to let go the retro box mentality (with enhanced
4k) and start making new games in the calibre of Spider-Man.
Competition is very good and very important to the market, but some folks are eager to spread FUD. The thematics of visual downgrades and X-Play are too anoying and diverts from the purity of having a game, insert the disc in the console and start an experience with great visuals, great mechanics, discussing with friends the best approach to make the next level and so on... I think there's a big orchestrated campaign from one vendor to downplay the other because they don't have the ca...
We never know but spending 500€ for a new xox is too much for a retro game machine in 4k..
Damage control are xbots trying to downgrade a marvelous masterpiece coming to Sony's land.
Damage control is trying to say the retro game machine (known as Xbox one x) that makes 4k is cool, even without games to play. Go play your desert gamebox
I cannot agree more with you. Let's talk serious, if they really want xplay then they should allow cross licensing, i.e., I buy the game in my platform of choice (Sony) then I can play it on PC, xbox or switch with the license I bought, in this case my Sony's license - that's xplay as it should. What I am saying is, I buy the game one time and play freely (without restrictions) on any platform, PC, PS4, Xbox, Switch. Ohhhh, Bethesda I think you don't want this, do you? This is...
Just an amazing pub, crazy Sony. Great job.
Why do you care if you don't own a PS4? if you had one, you would easily realize no need for xplay.
That's the big issue, not xplay.
I'm amazed how a corporation get into console flame wars, I just don't understand what is the purpose for something no one cares about and makes a great fuss about it.
Me, as a Sony console user, I don't need xplay.
Yep, it should be exactly the opposite, trade your xox for a pro and get an amazing bouquet of incredible and exclusive games.
IMO is not a lost cause but an opportunity for MS, this generation is a big lesson to them. I sincerely hope next generation they'll be humble and get the job done as it should. By example, they should take some risks as their competitors by producing AAA games, exclusive content, so their platform can show their strength.
GaaS is not a path to follow, but just my opinion. Anyway, that's a lot of hope.
OT - great job Sony and Nintendo.
See!?, in your answer you explained very well the power of exclusives.
IMO the graphics are very average and I'll buy it (if not playing Sony's masterpieces) when at €19,99 or less.
For that price, maybe I'll buy it.
