At the moment we don't know the price and sincerely is not a problem for the buyers (people doesn't need a console to survive). We are in a free market and Sony (like MS) will set the price, and as usually, we have the last word. The majority of people are not willing to pay premium prices because common sense kicks in, but if they do, it's up to them (and their wallet).

I think Xbox fans are more eager to know than Sony fans, because the only thing they could dream of "feeling good" about their beloved xbox is in the specs front.

Unfortunately only in specs, no exclusives to demonstrate the full power of the machine. Before I forget, don't tell us to be in wait mode eternally like current generation.
IMO it's very good for Xbox fanboys gamers. For the majority of Xbox gamers (the people with common sense) it's time to go Sony or Nintendo. Microsoft just invented a new trend called retroboxing, the art to make new hardware for old software.

IMO the kind of updates like this (stability) exists to combat piracy, even if not mentioned a single time. But they're always welcomed.
