I'm pretty sure you won't. I mean there seems like you could miss a lot in Destiny, if you play it offline and only on single play, but to each their own.
Really though? You don't playing online with say, friends? It's kind of fun. But I agree that single player experiences are just as amazing if not better. Will be interesting to see which one is better. Single or multi?
Yeah I hear that and it sounds like CDP is rather keen on only doing major expansions, which is great. But wow, hope they give us a year before adding to what is already going to be a massive game lol. This game looks sweet!
Can I see the link to the quote for that one? That's some professional lingo Ubisoft must have been throwing out there.
No they won't. Guarantee you the team has had access to both next-gens for at least three years. 3 or 4 years seems enough time to get some pretty damn good performance out of X1 and PS4. There is so much about this game we do not know about, so to dismiss it now and say it will be held back is a bit premature. But to each their own.
Only on those ports though. I think this is built for the X1 and PS4. That's what I've seen from the time I had with it. I think people who play on the 360 and PS3 are going to be disappointed. You want the true experience of this game, get it on next-gen. I've talked with them and there's no way this was made for current-gen. It's been in dev for over 4 years.
Pretty sure its both.
Yeah I like the idea of an MMO racer. Seems very engaging, not to mention the fact that the world is enormous.
Done a lot of work with Chris and his company. Really intriguing stuff that they have going on.
Yeah no that's a good point. Hopefully we'll get to hear something from Sony at Gamescom. Seems like they are preparing themselves for some semi-big reveals/news. Hope info on that will come sometime soon.
Haven't most signs been pointing toward both consoles being about the same from a capability standpoint? I could see both being able to do this, albeit in different forms.
Gamescom shaping up to be a big one this year. Yes I'll have another dose of E3-like competition, this time Germany style.
I know I hear ya! Saw it and it looks great! We'll probably see more as we get closer to the end of the year. Don't know if it is a first or second half release tho.
I'm fairly certain there isn't any really good public gameplay of this one yet. What I saw though is impressive and I think it gives Dark Souls a run for its money. I'm sure we'll see gameplay from Lords of the Fallen later this year though.
I think the staggering aspect of this game is the scope of it and how enormous it is setting up to be. There most likely isn't anything ground-breaking, but it definitely poses as a game that has something unique to offer.
The Division is coming to PC and current generation consoles. No way Ubisoft will pass up that revenue opportunity.
Especially when you look at how long the development cycle for this game has been. So far, they don't seem to be in a rush to get this game out the door. With how much Activision has invested in this game, it's paramount that it's successful, so it makes sense that they would provide as much support as Bungie needs.
Yeah that's a good point. A game like that for the Wii U would be huge. I'd like to see a great MMORPG on the Wii U because we know there will be plenty coming to the Xbox One and PS4.
The Division looked incredible. I do think Forza 5 looked impressive, but it can be difficult to tell how great visuals are when you are speeding through a track in a racing game. Graphics are kind of a mute point during a race, but it does look good, nonetheless.
Yeah that's a good point. Hopefully the single player will be just as complete, but that's something Bungie will have to consider in developing the game. There's obviously a large portion of players who are single player fans, not multiplayer. They'll have to be conscious of this or it could hurt the game a bit.
