It's samey except a lot less combat (which is nice) and a lot more tombs. If you like the puzzle tombs then you'll like this game. The environments are way different than the past two also. I'll say if you play only the story and no side content then it might come across as too short. I like doing all the side missions, tombs, etc. so the value is there for me.
12 hours in and loving every bit I've played. It's definitely a little dark, maybe too dark at times, but love how they're trying to showcase the impact killing has had on Lara. It's a bold choice for a AAA dev to go that route.
