@Abash completely agree and we need to get away from the just because it's a Microsoft product, it's going against Sony sort of mindset. I'd be surprised if HoloLens ever really becomes a significant gaming oriented device.

I mean MS said they do have Halo Reach, Halo Wars, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Bioshock, Bioshock 2, and Bioshock Infinite coming up. Kind of heavy hitters right there.
I certainly do. Playing previous gen games on next-gen hardware is kind of the essence of BC. But you're right in that it is certainly different from what MS is doing.

@Relientk77 that's what I figured. A cross open-world/linear game would be amazing. Detroit looks absolutely incredible in that trailer, would love to just wander around that beast for hours drooling at its beauty.
Do we know what genre this is yet? I've tried to look everywhere and haven't found anything. I mean I assume certain things since it's Quantic, but still, don't think that was mentioned.
I just hope it's not overhyped to the point where Watch Dogs was overhyped. I mean that in the sense that expectations for what the game could be, were far beyond what the game actually was. Part of that was cryptic, ambiguous messaging from devs, but I do think we (gamers) didn't help with maintaining realistic expectations. I'd say we won't make that mistake again, but then again...
I definitely see both sides for those who liked it and those who didn't. For me, I enjoyed all of it, and do see why they went the way they did, but certainly, I sympathize with those who disliked Ep. 5's nature and ending.
