I enjoy Japanese games so I pretty much had no choice but to get a PS4 which I don't mind because I loved playing the PS1,PS2,and PS3 so it was only a logical purchase.

Going through FF7 on my PSP right now I don't know if they will keep all the content intact in the remake. There is quite a lot for an RPG released in 1997. Remaking all of that in full 3D will take so long.

Single player will always be superior to multiplayer. That feeling of immersion you get from a good SP game is untouched so far by even the best of the best multiplayer games.
