Consoles didn't kill the gaming industry, that's a fallacy that disregards the very foundations console have built, the time it took to get there and the support it provides for AAA game development. In fact it's quite the opposite. If consoles suddenly stopped existing or if their exclusives went multiplat it would seem reasonable to think people would automatically migrate to PC but that's not the case and the results would be devastating. FFVII alone kills the whole FFXIII saga. I'm going through this masterpiece right now and it shows how far FF has fallen. FFXIII a disgrace upon this great franchise. I pray that FFXV is a masterpiece so that we can all forget FFXIII ever existed.

Once a Playstation console gets ahead, the competition cannot reach it no matter how hard they try. Sorry Wii U and Xbone, but PS4 won this gen.
These damn games need to sell good in Japan on PS4 or else everything will be on handhelds. I prefer home consoles for gaming. Please Japan please buy them even if you mainly buy handheld devices. Many of us who love Japanese games still prefer to play at home on a big screen television.
The Xbox 360 is 10 years old now it's a bit too late to appeal. Everyone moved now. Maybe that's one of the reason why Xbone isn't selling good. People still remember the RROD and disc scratches.
I only have handhelds because of exclusives. I play everything at home on the big screen if possible.
