Jelly at begging for console ports? I never have to beg as a console gamer.
The game industry in 2016 isn't the same one as 1997. Things will get get cut because people will get offended. Also devs got more lazy so they'll cut up content into DLC. It might turn out to be a complete disaster who knows. If SE messes up FF7R, they can kiss their FF fanbase goodbye forever. I'm playing through the original right now and I know things will get cut. It has a lot of damn content for a 1997 JRPG.
Let's see if SFV can surpass USFIV because I love USFIV. It's an almost perfect SF game. As for the characters being bought, Nah I'm old school I'll grind my way just like I did way back in MVC2 era.
As someone who has played video games since the sega genesis was still hot, it feels like graphics don't surprise me much anymore. As long as it's competent for that hardware it's running on and I can see what I'm doing while I'm playing without hurting my eyes I don't care.
It's still essentially a hand me down game that people played years ago. Congrats.
North America buys more games made from Japan on home consoles than Japan does. I always found it funny but logical. Japan may not play home consoles like they did 15-20 years ago, but many still do. The moment when there are no Japanese games to play on a home console is the moment when I'll probably quit gaming. I enjoy handhelds don't get me wrong, but there is nothing better than being in front of a big screen HDTV with surround sound playing an immersive game with a good controll...
People built a $900-$1000 PC just to play console ports. Thank god I never built a rig.
FF13 is trash bruh. Please I hope FF15 and FF7R are good. 5 years later and I still regret buying FF13 full priced. I never bought a FF game full priced ever again.
All I want is Ape Escape 4. That's all I want.
It won't have massive Japanese support therefore will always be hurt by sales as long as Playstation keeps coming out. That Japanese support will always push Playstation sales above Xbox. Year in and year out.
Yes why should we?
We know it won't have good 3rd party support
We know the online will be ancient compared to Xbox and Playstation because they are cheap
We know it will have some stupid gimmick to grab the kiddies and casuals
We know it will most likely be region locked like every other Nintendo home console because they won't want people buying cheaper versions of games from other countries and make less profit
We know it will...
The PS4 controls 8th gen it won't even make a dent. Sorry but once a Playstation console has a grip on a marketshare, it's hard to tug some away.
I remember when people used to bash the PS3 for inferior multiplats. Now it doesn't seem to matter because Xbox multiplats are inferior. Huh that's funny. Xbox had the best multiplats for 2 whole generations but now Playstation finally gets to shine.
At least they're getting the game unlike Wii U
Sony treats it's fans like adults unlike Nintendo with all these gimmicks.
Why would I give a flying fuck about mobile apps? What do I look like Nintendo some Japanese teenager? This is why their home consoles are irrelevant. Adults cannot take them seriously.
PS4 won.
It's irrelevant bruh.
This is what happens when you let a Playstation console get ahead. Microsoft was wary of this when they competed with the PS2 and before the 360 came out which is why they tried so hard to stay ahead in early 7th gen.I guess Microsoft just isn't hungry anymore
Wii U? Well nobody takes the Wii U seriously. Nintendo home consoles are irrelevant now which makes me sad because the NES,SNES,N64,and GC were all good consoles.
It won't really do much to make things more exciting honestly. You'll still be playing a game. You still need to just find games that wow you but as you play games for years and years, it tends to happen less unless you really step outside of your comfort zone. I still get wowed by games once in a while just not like when I was a teenager/young boy. That's only human nature though.
