Strangely enough I get really excited looking at these different graphics cards.
I am also fascinated by the numbers that they push, even though I don't really understand them.
Last graphics card I bought was the legendary Radeon 9800 pro 128mb. I need to get with the times me thinks.
I played a few long sessions on both FIFA 2010 and PES 2010. Here's how I see it:
* Shooting on PES is better, FIFA's shooting is too floaty and SLLLOOOOOOWWWWWW.
* Animations on FIFA are a lot better than PES and more realistic
* Passing on FIFA is better than PES
* Player likenesses on PES are better
* Music on FIFA is great, not so on PES
* Master League is one plus point for PES, although FIFA 2010 is the overall better game in my opinion.

Anyone who enjoyed Oblivion on PS3 should get this.
Tbh though this is a PC game for fans of the genre, who happen to be PC folk like me. So if you have a capable PC, you'd be mad to get it on console.
No-one should touch the 360 version :-)

Seeing as IGN is a more casual gamer site, I'd expected them to give this a lower mark.
Kudos to them for recognizing how utterly refreshing a game like Demon's Souls is on the market.

My Chinese mate from uni 2 years ago used to play this import game called Basara.
It must have been Basara 2/Devil Kings 2. IT WAS AWESOME.
We used to play it non-stop. It is basically a better and more developed Dynasty Warriors, and also cos the dev is Capcom, the graphics/production/music is also much richer and advanced of the Korean game.
I remember especially the characters were cool as hell and had wicked special moves. Very addictive.
EDGE giving ODST a 9/10 was the final straw.
Especially when you consider their scores to other FULL-GAME FPSs.
The publication has lost all credibility and is a load of high-browed garbage. The sad thing is that there are a few more biased publications like EDGE that need rumbling.
Damn I'm really torn.
I was more learning towards PES 2010 this year, about 65% in favour of getting that to FIFA 2010's 35%.
But this is getting a lot of hype. And FIFA just doesn't feel as satisfying as PES, at least the PES from the PS2 days.

Wow GT5 absolutely murders Forza 3 in these comparison vids!
Doesnt show Forza 3 in a good light imo, the Ferrari in GT5 looks untouchable and flawless. Look at 42 seconds in at the GT5 Ferrari: my jaw dropped. Flawless computer graphical representation.

Even the pathetically derivative and monotenous Halo Wars got excellent scores from the same usual suspects of gaming journalism.

This game is another AAA classic for PS3.

It is a sad indictment of the videogame industry that the guy that wrote this article is right.
SotC will do well to sell 1 million units, whereas Halo or MW or games with guns and shooting sell closer to 10 million during their lifetime.
And it is YOU American's that are largely to blame for that: always the lovers of violence and guns. The rest of Europe and especially Japan have better tastes.
