"Winning" E3 really means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Especially when the show is shrinking and devs are leaving the show floor left and right. Nintendo is showing awesome games. That is what I care about.

Miitomo was very profitable and so will Pokemon Go, Fire Emblem, and the animal crossing mobile games. That is a brilliant move that will feed into more sales of the handheld/console games.

Nintendo has Zelda, Pokemon Sun/Moon, Pokemon Go, Dragon Quest, Rhythm Heaven, Paper Mario, Monster Hunter + surprises. The treehouse is usually one of the most watched streams of E3.
Like it or not Zelda is going to be a stunner and will likely have the most packed booth like they had last year, and Pokemon is going to sell more than any game this year, so it is not like people are uninterested in Nintendo's output this E3.
