Nintendo is at its most successful when they innovate. Both with software and hardware.
The X1 is tanking and that is a "normal system". That is no way to predict success by having a "normal" system.

Not true at all. Look at third party 3DS games. Nintendo gamers buy great 3rd party games in droves.
Monster Hunter sells well with Nintendo, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, all sorts of other games.

3DS current is the system with the highest sales and highest software sales. THis year is the most incredible year for 3DS software. Best system on the market right now.
