I'll be going in somewhat blind. I didn't watch a single AC1 video and wasn't dissapointed at all. I watched one gameplay video for AC2 when it came out and then got it. For AC3, I only watch videos that have nothing to do with story. I don't even like to watch gameplay videos that much because I want to discover all of it myself.
I agree. WWII would be kind of hard to work with and the gameplay would be different, but it'd be cool nonetheless. And I could see feudal Japan working really well. A Chinese setting would be good too. It'd be sweet to run around on the Great Wall of China and there is plenty of conflict to work with.
WW2 and Feudal Japan have already been shot down several times by the creative director. He says they are two of the worst possible settings he could think of. They've also already said several times that Desmond's story would be concluded, so he most likely won't be the protagonist from now on.
Russian Civil war I could see, especially since the comic series revolves around that. Napoleanic France is too similar to the Revolutionary war so I doubt they'd go ...

I expect a significant drop in my grades after October 30. AC3 and Libertion will take up all of my time both at home and anywhere else.
Amen. I also hate having to press buttons during a cutscene so that they can try and pass it off as gameplay. Do one or the other.

So do I. That's what will push it over as a true AC experience for me. Bloodlines for the PSP had pretty much the same combat system and weapons but only had like 2 NPCs per screen which really made it feel weird.
If the Vita has a good holiday season, it could probably match the 3DS's first year or at least get close.
The fact remains that XBL has never been hacked. ;)

I can't wait for AC3 and Liberation. Liberation is going to be so awesome. There's never been a full fledged handheld AC game. Bloodlines was alright but it was certainly not a full fledged Assassin's Creed game. And AC3 looks so great with the new combat system and settings. And the weather, hunting, and climbing trees will be sweet.
Ragnarok Odyssey also looks like it'll be an awesome game too and Dishonored looks great. I'll probably pick up Medal of Ho...
