Comixology would still be better. I'm not going to spend money on comics that I can only read on my Vita. I'd rather buy it on Comixology and be able to read it on my Kindle, computer, and iPod as well as my Vita.
I don't know why they thought they could make it work. The size of the screen severely limits the experience. It'd work better on PS Vita but still they shouldn't have gone through the trouble of developing an app themselves when I'm sure Comixology would do it and offer way more support. I also already have a butt ton of comics on Comixology because they come free with physical copies of comics. It just makes more sense to go with Comixology.
Except that AC, Halo, Uncharted, and Need 4 Speed all make changes from game to game. I'm not gonna defend Battlefield, Mario, or Madden as they are exactly how you describe them. The leap from AC to AC2 was massive. Same for Revelations to AC3 and even Halo 3 to Reach to Halo4 is also huge. If you've played any of the games you mentioned, then you'd realize they make way more changes than CoD ever does.
Same. I also watched the Ezio epilogue, but like you didn't pay for it ;). I might buy all the DLC in preparation for AC3 though.
I hear that's because they needed to make the release date. But I'm not sure I believe that bs.
Title scared me for a bit. I want more trilogies, just with different assassin's in each game of the trilogy. He just meant no trilogies of the same assassin, which I agree with. Though I did like the Ezio trilogy, it got old.
It was a joke dumbass.
@Frankfurt
Do you have any numbers that say otherwise? It's common sense. If a game is extremely popular and has a large fan base, then it will sell systems. Hence Call of Duty, Uncharted 3, and Assassin's Creed 3 being bundled with the PS3 and Halo 4 and Forza being bundled for the Xbox 360.
Well said. The only thing I think the PS3 Vita combo has over Wii U is the fact that the PS Vita is actually its own handheld console. Other than that, it's too pricey for someone to buy both, there isn't enough support, and games aren't built with that in mind. I think it's silly to compare them when the Wii U was built with all of this in mind.
This game looks awesome.
@Red Orange Juice
Are you high or something? Assassin's Creed II sold 10 million copies. Assassin's Creed Bloodlines was one of the games bundled with the PSP, Assassin's Creed 3 is being bundled with the new PS3, and Liberation is being bundled with the Vita. The only games that you ever bundle with consoles are ones that will sell consoles, or shitty ones that won't sell otherwise. Assassin's Creed is not the latter.
And the PS Vita has ...
I have it for 360 and even I know that PS3 users shouldn't keep faith in Bethesda. The game they released on PS3 is completely unacceptable.
Conviction was fun and all, but it was not a Splinter Cell game in any sense of the term. If they ever pull this kind of shit with Assassin's Creed, I will kill someone.
@Seraphemz
You must have forgotten about the Yellow Light of Death, which typically happened after the warranty was up. So Sony essentially screwed everyone while at least Microsoft was able to replace the xbox. What's that you say, your PS3 has never YLOD'd? Well neither has my 360, had it since launch. It's funny how selective some people's memories can be.
I agree. It's definitely the most promising Vita title in my opinion, but it's certainly not more promising than AC3. Liberation has a lot of the updates AC3 has but AC3 still has sea battles, continues the AC story, way more gameplay, much larger and probably nicer environments, and way more character animations. Now I was wondering, does Liberation have the season cycles?
I believe there are some error in this. You're telling me that in a week the Dreamcast sold 19,000? If the PS Vita is 300+ above right now but will be 19,000 behind in a week, there's something going wrong in the math.
There's a demo on the PSN store. Took a while to download but it's actually a lot of gameplay for a demo in my opinion.
Yeah there's a demo on the PSN store. Downloaded it last night.
I don't know but I just played the demo and was blown away. I have never played LBP 1 or 2 so I never got the appeal of it. After playing the demo, this is a must buy for sure.
They said they most likely weren't going to do a trilogy with the same character again because everyone was bored with Ezio by Revelations. But I wouldn't be surprised by a follow up game with Connor to be released next year to give them time to develop AC4. They'll probably also make another buffer game before AC4, but Alex Hutchinson said whether or not it would feature Connor depends on how much people like him. This is all speculation on my part, but it makes sense.
