I think it's an awesome game but the story is kind of random and weak. That's what feels off about it to me, every other AC game has a well paced story.

And there's a lack of side missions. What's the point of having an entire city if there's nothing to do in it. I do like roaming the cit though. And the Bayou is awesome, I just love being able to climb trees and mess around. I'd give it an 8.

I like the Native American aspect of Connor way more. It compliments his story better than Aveline's in my opinion. And AC3 tackles the issue of slavery several times. Connor gets pissed at Sam Adams for having a slave (she wasn't really a slave though). His mentor is black and has to get Connor to shop for him because he isn't allowed. AC3 also tackles the persecution of Native Americans, who were also used as slaves, though many people seem to forget that.

Had it been released on 3DS or iOS, it would be Bloodlines level quality.

I didn't like the persona system at first, but it grows on you. I like just messing around in the bayou in the Assassin persona. I still have to get Ragnarok and Need for Speed, probably Christmas games.

It's an awesome game, definitely not a mistake.

Oh, I feel you. That's true too.

Yeah they throw you in abruptly. It gets better though with a decent story. And yes, it is much better than Bloodlines. I liked that game myself, just because it was AC on the go, but it sucks compared to this.

Well I think more people will buy it. A lot came out on the 30th and it had to compete with AC3 Liberation and Ragnarok Odyssey. Not to mention AC3 and NFS on home consoles.

Not very. The combat feels exactly the same and the controls are very close to the consoles. The difference comes from the story and setting. But even then you have a main city in this (there are 2 in AC3)and a the bayou (which is like AC3's frontier). They really managed to make it feel like AC3.

They already released one patch. I hope that if they ever get around to a sequel then they ditch the persona system or make it more flexible.

4853d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Exactly. There are too many comparisons to it's home console counterpart. I can understand comparing story but gampelay and graphics will be different solely because it is a handheld game.

I wouldn't say a 3 out of 5. Probably a 4. The biggest problem for me is the lack of backstory and the persona system. It's a cool idea but it gets annoying.

And the graphics are not anywhere near what they were in the trailers. I wasn't expecting them to be but I thought they'd be a little better. The combat and controls are amazing though and the fact that it is a huge open world on a handheld makes it understandable why the graphics aren't as good as t...

I can understand a season pass. I might buy that myself depending on whether or not it's mostly multiplayer (I'd rather have story). But the other two are just ways of cheating. It takes all the fun out of the game.

He got the line wrong. "Nothing is true, everything is permitted" is correct. Come on, if you're going to use it to insult the game then get it right. Anyway, it seems like this guy has a problem with the AC franchise as a whole.

I'd say it's an 8.5 at the very max. 9 is a stretch. It's a fun game but there are some flaws that could have easily been fixed.

True. I agree with a lot of them too. Avelines story is pretty weak. Whereas in AC2 and AC3 we get to see what motivates their respective Assassin's and see them mature and grow, in Liberation you're just kind of thrown in there.

Only if they're dumb enough to stick around. I remember in Katrina all the looters thought they were so clever, stealing flatscreens and all sorts of expensive merchandise. Days later they probably realized they should've gone for the water bottles and canned goods first.

No problem. LBP Vita is a great one too. Really you can't go wrong between all the games mentioned.

Definitely Assassins Creed 3 Liberation. Comes out tomorrow.

4855d ago 8 agree0 disagreeView comment

Good list but AC3 Liberation should totally be on here. It comes out tomorrow and that's when I'm expected to lose power.
